01Commit to the bit

Good light records the costume, makeup, and very specific creative decisions.

02Bring the whole coven

The open frame leaves room for groups, hats, capes, and questionable props.

The point

If everyone dressed up, photograph the work.

A costume party already contains the art direction. The booth gives guests consistent light and a clean frame so masks, makeup, handmade details, and group concepts do not disappear into dark room lighting.

The result is both an activity and a record of the people who took the assignment seriously.

The setup

Open space beats a tiny mystery box.

Enclosed booths are especially bad at tall hats, wings, capes, large groups, and any outfit with structural ambition. An open setup lets guests arrange themselves and use more of the frame.

We confirm the footprint with the venue so the backdrop, camera, light, props, printer, and line have room.

Measure the accessories

Tell us about stilts, giant headpieces, inflatables, or anything else that changes the normal frame.

Props

Do not bury good costumes under generic props.

When guests already have a visual concept, the prop table should support it instead of competing with it. A few useful additions work better than a heap of novelty signs.

We can use our standard selection, a smaller edit, or space for host-provided pieces.

Afterward

An edited gallery for the morning after.

Helena and Laurent edit the finished photographs before publishing the gallery. Guests can download files and order professional prints after everybody has removed the makeup.

We skip mandatory on-site email entry so the line stays focused on photographs.

Straight answers

Before you book.

01Can the booth fit large costumes?

The open setup is much more flexible than an enclosure. Tell us about unusually large costume elements so we can plan the frame.

02Should we still provide props?

Usually fewer. Good costumes already do most of the work; a selective prop table keeps the frame from becoming cluttered.

03Can the print design match the theme?

Yes. Custom artwork can carry the theme, date, or party name while preserving enough room for the photographs.

04Will the booth work in a dark party room?

Professional booth lighting is designed to dominate the guest area, though placement around theatrical lights and reflective surfaces still matters.
