The ceremony

If the dogs are getting married, commit to the production.

A dog wedding is either an extremely good party idea or an alarming escalation in household politics. Either way, it deserves better than dark phone photographs.

The open booth leaves room for dogs, handlers, wedding parties, collars, veils, florals, and humans attempting to keep everyone facing approximately forward.

This is a real page

We would absolutely photograph a dog wedding. We would also ask practical questions about handlers, venue rules, cleanup, noise, and whether the couple has met before.

The portraits

Professional light. Unprofessional subject matter.

A real camera and studio light preserve fur detail, costumes, and the exact moment one spouse decides the bouquet is edible.

Guests receive photo strips during the reception. Helena and Laurent edit the finished gallery afterward, because even absurdity deserves good color.

Etiquette

Consent matters, even without opposable thumbs.

The dogs should be comfortable with the room, people, equipment, and each other. The booth is never worth forcing an animal through stress for a joke.

A pet-friendly venue, quiet area, water, cleanup supplies, and realistic timeline make the pageantry better.

The couple may leave early

The reception can continue without them. Frankly, that is also true at several human weddings.

The legal part

We provide photographs, not canine family law.

The Awesome Photobooth does not solemnize marriages, interpret interspecies property agreements, or determine custody of the squeaky duck.

We do make excellent pictures of a beautifully strange gathering and deliver them in a gallery your guests can download.

Straight answers

Before you book.

01Will you really photograph a dog wedding?

Yes, provided the event is safe for the animals, the venue permits them, and the plan includes handlers, breaks, water, and cleanup.

02Can dogs fit in the photo booth?

The booth is open-air, so dogs can pose with seated, kneeling, or standing humans. The frame depends on backdrop width and camera distance.

03Do the dogs receive two prints?

Every completed session produces two classic 2×6 strips. Distribution between spouses is a private matter.

04Is the marriage legally binding?

We are photographers, not attorneys or clergy. Please consult the relevant authorities before combining kennels, assets, or veterinary insurance.
